David A. Abrahamian

LOWELL        David A. Abrahamian, 51, of Lowell, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 20, 2017. 

     Born December 25, 1965, in Boston, MA, he was the son of Barbara (Moschella) Abrahamian, and the late Abraham “Al” Abrahamian. He grew up in Lowell and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, in 1987, his Master’s degree in 1991 also from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and his second Masters’ Degree from Boston College in 1993.

     David spent his entire life counseling and mentoring others going through difficult times and was responsible for positively influencing the lives of many. He worked in several management positions in the field of addiction and recovery, and in 2011 he conceived and founded Fresh Start Sober Living in Fall River.  

     Besides his mother, Barbara, of Lowell, he is survived by his twin daughters, Elizabeth & Megan Abrahamian of Needham, his sister Carla and her husband William Caraccio of Salem, NH, his niece and nephew, Sarah and Will Caraccio of Salem, NH, his aunt and uncle, Cathy and Tony Moschella of Danvers, his cousin, Anthony Moschella of Marblehead and his uncle, George Aprahamian of Dracut and several cousins.

           YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS FROM 4 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON TUESDAY AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.

ON WEDNESDAY, HIS FUNERAL WILL BEGIN FROM THE FUNERAL HOME AT 11:30 A.M. HIS FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED WEDNESDAY AT 12:30 P.M. AT THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 144 EAST MERRIMACK STREET, LOWELL, MA. HIS PROCESSION WILL FOLLOW FOR BURIAL AT ST. MARY CEMETERY IN TEWKSBURY.
