Darlene Marie (Johnston) Ramey
DRACUT Darlene Marie (Johnston) Ramey, 54, of Dracut, died unexpectedly, Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the widow of Ronald Ramey who passed away in September of 1997.
Born October 29, 1955, in Woburn, she was a daughter of the late William Johnston, and the late Frances (Proctor) Johnston. She was educated in the Burlington area.
She resided in Dracut for many years. She was employed as a technician with MA/COM in Burlington for several years. She will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her holiday decorations. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends, including her beloved cat “Baby Jack”.
She is survived by her two children, Christopher Ramey of Dracut and Kaitlyn Ramey of Hollbrook, NY, her boyfriend, Brian Flanagan of Dracut, her stepmother, Arlene Johnston of Burlington, four brothers, Gary Johnston and his wife, Katherine, of Wakefield, Ray Johnston and his wife Lauren of Newburyport, Steve Johnston of Wakefield, Kevin Johnston of Lowell, a sister Robin McInerney of Westminster, and a sister in law Linda Johnston of Bedford. She is also survived by many cousins including Deborah Noonan of Burlington who was like a sister to her, and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was the sister of the late Thomas Johnston.
