Daniel C. Filiatrault
Beloved Son and Friend
LOWELL Daniel C. Filiatrault, 44, of Lowell, passed away suddenly on September 12 as a result of a car accident. He is survived by his longtime girlfriend of 19 years, Lisa Skovinski.
Born August 13, 1969, in Lowell, and he was a son of Charles Filiatrault of Lowell, and Charlene (Spinney) Dyson of Wilmington. He grew up in Lowell and Woburn, attended Lowell schools, and later graduated from Northeast Vocational High School in Wakefield in 1988, becoming a Dupont Master Fabricator.
He worked as a solid surface master fabricator until he passed away. Daniel currently was employed by Jack's Custom Cabinetry in Woburn, and previously for Caddis Co. in Winchester. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and was an avid Boston Sports Fan. He was always willing to lend a hand to his family and friends. Daniel enjoyed helping out at Frank and Ernest in Lowell.
In addition to his mother, Charlene Dyson and her husband, Doug of Wilmington; and his father, Charles Filiatrault and his wife, Donna of Lowell; he is survived by his girlfriend, Lisa Skovinski of Lowell; a stepbrother, Christopher Conway of Lowell; and his uncles and aunts, Timothy Spinney and his wife, Cynthia, Marist Brother Charles (Frank) Filiatrault, Paul Filiatrault and his wife, Nora, Lorraine Filiatrault, Lucien Filiatrault and his wife, Patricia, Dennis Filiatrault and his wife, Sandra, and Michelle Arguin and her husband, Guy. He is also survived by many cousins and friends, including his close friends, Ralph and Brian.
He was also the grandson of the late Charles Spinney and his wife, Catherine 'Kay' Spinney, and Francis 'Frank" Xavier Filitrault and his wife, Jeanne Filiatrault; nephew of the late Richard Filiatrault; and friend of the late Jay Mooney.
