Clark ‘Clarko’ Otero
LOWELL Clark ‘Clarko’ Otero, 41, of Lowell, died Thursday, May 15, 2014, unexpectedly with his family at his side. For the past twenty years, he was the loving husband of Heather Jaynes.
A son of Jose Luis Otero and Margot (Figueroa) Otero of Lowell, he was born June 15, 1972, in Lowell, and was educated in the Lowell Schools.
He made his home in the Highlands Section of the City, and worked in the construction field working jobs throughout Massachusetts as a Union Laborer and member of Local 429. A lifelong Lowell resident, he enjoyed time spent with family and also enjoyed fishing and loved animals, especially raising his pit bulls and bull dogs.
In addition to his wife, Heather, and his parents, Jose and Margot, he is survived by his daughters, Cortney Melendez of Lowell and Alexis Otero of Lowell; his son and his best friend, Matthew Otero of Lowell; his brothers, Marcelo Perez of Lowell, Jorge Perez of Tewksbury, and Rene Perez of Dracut; his sisters, Clarissa Otero of Lowell, and Alicia Otero of Chelmsford. He was also Uncle Clarko to his many nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Jose "Papo" Otero Jr.
