Catherine E. "Kathy" Reed
"Beloved Mother and Grandmother"

LOWELL Catherine E. “Kathy” (Clements) Reed, 55, of Lowell, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Lowell General Hospital, after a brief illness.
A daughter of Thomas J. Clements of Woburn and the late Phyllis J. (Boyle) Clements, she was born May 28, 1958, in Woburn, and was raised and educated in Burlington. Since 1985, she made her home in Lowell. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, J.J. and Freddie, and also enjoyed NASCAR Racing, especially Tony Stewart. She was also the ex-wife of the late Dean Reed Sr. of Wilmington
She worked as a school bus monitor for seventeen years before becoming a school bus driver for S.P. & R. of Dracut.
She is survived by her children, Dean E. Reed and his longtime girlfriend Kat of Lowell, and Nicole P. Carroll and her husband, Charles III, of Dracut; her grandchildren, Jason Chamberland and Freddie Carroll both of Dracut; her brothers and sisters, Thomas Clements and his wife, Audrey, of Londonderry, NH, Daniel Clements of Billerica, Edward Clements and his wife, Nancy, of Salem, NH, Marjorie Vieira and her husband, Daniel, of Woburn, Diane Francis and her husband, Bobby, of Lowell, John White of Woburn, Denise Witkowski and her husband, Henry, of Billerica, Jeanette Ahlin and her husband, Steve, of New Durham, NH, Daniel White and his wife, Nicole, of Woburn; and many nieces and nephews including Holly and Bobby who she was very close to. Her survivors also include her stepmother, Elizabeth Clements of Woburn; her fiance Jerry Marchand of Lowell, and his sons, Jerry and George; and her close friends, Dave and Lori Forest of Dracut.
