Carol E. Archibald
THE VILLAGES, FLORIDA Carol E. Archibald, 79, of The Villages, Florida, and of North Chelmsford, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015, after a brief illness.
A daughter of the late Francis and the late Anne C. (Wynn) Archibald, she was born June 7, 1935, in Lowell. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Patrick's Church, she attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School, and graduated from St. Patrick's High School, Class of 1952. She then attained her Bachelors Degree in Management from UMass Lowell.
Carol enjoyed a lengthy career as a Contract Negotiator for the United States Air Force at Hanscom Air Force Base until her retirement after thirty one years of service. She was a longtime member of Mt. Pleasant Golf Club and enjoyed traveling through out Europe, Canada, and the United States. She also was a former resident of Wells Beach, Maine, and spent her winters at The Villages in Florida.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara McKone of Newport Beach, CA; her brothers, Francis Archibald of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Walter Archibald of Sewell, NJ; her close friend, Carole Tessier of North Chelmsford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Charles Archibald, and her nephew Mark Archibald.
