Carl E. Sheehan Sr.
LOWELL Carl E. Sheehan Sr., 61, a lifelong Lowell resident, died March 24, 2008 at Saints Medical Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of Lucinda (Everett) Sheehan.
Born June 3, 1946, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Francis and the late Olga (Kapala) Sheehan,and was educated in Dracut, graduating from Dracut High School, Class of 1965.
Mr. Sheehan served with the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Joseph P.Kennedy Jr., as a cook, and received the National Defense Service Medal for his service. After his honorable discharge, he worked for various security companies in the area for more than twenty five years.
He made his home on Merrill Street, and was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church. He enjoyed Cooking, Gardening, Karaoke, bowling, and was a boxer in the Golden Gloves.
Besides his wife, Lucinda, he is survived by four children, Carl Sheehan Jr. and his fiancee, Karen Gran, of Nashua, Brenda Sheehan of Lowell, Carol Horman and her fiancee, Mike Kowack, of Manchester, NH, and Linda Sheehan and her fiancee, Christian Maisonet, of Lowell; brothers, Francis Sheehan and his wife, Rita, of Portsmouth, NH, and Kenneth Sheehan of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Patricia Hartwell of Pelham; sister in law, Shirley Sheehan of Lowell; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Eleanor Lorrigan and her husband, Brian, and brother in law of the late Harold ‘Red’ Hartwell, and grandfather of the late Jacob Andrew Sheehan and the late Christian Maisonet Jr.
