Bronson Wallace
LOWELL Bronson Wallace, 81, a lifelong Lowell resident, died peacefully Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Sunbridge of North Reading.
Born December 22, 1926, in Lowell, he was the second youngest of 12 children of the late Stanley and the late Sophie (Majewski) Valkavitch. He attended the local schools, and Lowell High School
Mr. Wallace served with the United States Navy during World War II. A decorated Veteran, he received The World War II Victory Medal, The American Theatre Medal, The European, African, Middle Eastern Theatre Medal, 1 Bronze Star along with The Asiatic Pacific Theatre Medal, and 2 Bronze Stars along with The Philippine Liberation Medal.
He was employed as an Administrator with Raytheon Corporation for 15 years. For over 30 years he was a well known local bartender at the Speare House.
He made his home in Lowell and was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. He was also a member of the Polish American Veterans, and enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by a son, Anthony Wallace and his wife, Colleen, of Lowell; three grandchildren, Anthony Bronson Wallace, Elizabeth Rose Wallace, and Hannah Jane Wallace, all of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
