Bernadette Marie Duval

LOWELL      Bernadette Marie Duval, 72, of Lowell, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness.  She was the beloved wife of John J. Duval with whom she shared the past Forty Seven years of Marriage.

       A daughter of the late Felix Frechette and the late Marie (Moreau) Frechette,  she was born February 22, 1946, in Whitefield, New Hampshire, and grew up and was educated in Sanford, Maine, graduating from Saint Ignatius High School.  She continued her education at the Youville School of Nursing, in Cambridge, and became a  Licensed Practical Nurse.

       Bernie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She also was in a bowling league in her younger days, and more recently enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.  She was also an avid sports fan.

     Besides her loving husband, John, she is survived by her daughter, Amy Schmidt and her husband, Eric, of Salem, NH; her son, Brendon Duval of Manchester, NH; her grandchildren, Alexander Schmidt of Salem, NH, Nolan Duval of Manchester, NH, and Kellen Duval of Manchester, NH.  Bernadette was one of sixteen children, and is survived by several brothers and sisters, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
