Bella F. (Figueira) Vasconcelos
LOWELL Bella F. (Figueira) Vasconcelos, 87, of Lowell, died after a long illness Monday, February 1, 2010 at Radius Northwood Health Care Center. She was the widow of Manuel Vasconcelos, who passed away in 1994.
Born November 18, 1922, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late John, and the late Maria (Gouveia) Figueira.
She resided in the Belvedere Section of Lowell, and was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church. She was employed as an assembler for Raytheon in in Andover, as well as a runner for Raytheon in both Lowell and Andover. She enjoyed crocheting, she also liked to cook, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, John and his wife Mary (Picanso) Vasconcelos of Lowell, three grandchildren, Diane and her husband David Silva of Dracut, John and his wife Wania Vasconcelos of Dracut, and Linda and her husband John Palumbo of Dracut, six great grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Silva, Sarah and John Jr. Vasconcelos, Tyler and Cameron Palumbo, all of Dracut. She is also survived by two great nephews John and his wife Carol Figueira of Lowell, and Raymond and his wife Becky Figueira of Lowell
She was the sister of the late Manuel Figueira and Mary Gouveia.
