Barbara Wallace
LOWELL Barbara (Murphy) Wallace, 82, of Lowell, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Radius Northwood Health Care Center.
Born May 15, 1933, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Bernard F. Murphy Sr. and the late Margaret (Sullivan) Murphy, and was educated in the local schools, graduating from Lowell High School, Class of 1951.
She made her lifelong home in Lowell, and was employed as an assembler for Raytheon Corporation in Lowell and Andover before her retirement. She enjoyed shopping, taking drives especially to the beach, and trips to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun.
She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Wallace of Lowell; her brother Bernard F. Murphy Jr. of Lowell; her sisters, Maureen and her husband John Donohoe of Lowell and Margaret A. Hnatowicz and her husband, Dennis, of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews and cousins.
She was also sister of the late David T. Murphy, and sister in law of the late Mary A. Murphy and the late Dorothy Murphy.
Barbara’s family would like to thank the staff of Radius Northwood Health Care Center for the kindness and compassion they bestowed on Barbara during her stay there.
