Barbara A. King
BILLERICA Barbara A. King, 85, a resident of North Billerica for thirty one years, died at Sunny Acres Nursing Home on March 19, 2014.
She was born in Lowell on July 10, 1928, the daughter of the late George A. King and the late Cecile B. (Unice)(King) Atkinson. She graduated from Lowell High School and Katharine Gibbs School.
Ms. King was a secretary at Raytheon Company in Burlington prior to her retirement.
She was a lifelong communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church, and was a member of the League of Catholic Women. Barbara’s philanthropy touched many lives locally and worldwide.
She is survived by her devoted cousin and lifelong companion, Claire M. King, and a dear friend, Mary J. Capaldo.
