Ashley R. Finnegan
DRACUT Ashley R. Finnegan, 25, of Dracut, suffered silently from epilepsy, and she passed away in her sleep, at home on March 31, 2013. She was the daughter of Sherry (Harbarger) Finnegan and her husband, James Welch, and John Finnegan of Reno, Nevada.
She grew up in Lowell, Dracut, and Tyngsboro, attending elementary school in Lowell, middle school in Dracut, and graduated from Tyngsboro High School, Class of 2005. She continued her education with Middlesex Community College, and later attended AIU and Stratford University, graduating with her Associates Degree in Forensic Science.
Ashley’s whole life was dedicated to her daughter, Mia. She also enjoyed time spent with family and friends, and writing, especially writing letters to friends and family. She also wrote children’s books.
In addition to her Sherry and James of Dracut, and her beloved daughter, Mia Phaneuf of Dracut, she is survived by her brothers, John ‘J.T.’ Finnegan of Dracut, Corey Welch of Dracut, and Christian Welch of Lowell; her grandmother, Joan Hardy of Billerica; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and many close friends.
