Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather
LOWELL Arthur W. Keefe Jr., 55, of North Chelmsford, formerly of Margate, Florida, died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at his home. He was the husband of Kristen Keefe, with whom they celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary last March.
Born June 14, 1956, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Arthur W., and the late Marilyn (McNeil) Keefe. Arthur grew up in East Chelmsford and was educated in the Chelmsford area, graduating from Chelmsford High School.
He was employed as a mason in the masonry and construction industries throughout the Lowell and Florida areas for many years. Arthur was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed watching and attending Boston Bruins games. He also enjoyed listening to live music: his favorite band was Pearl Jam. He mostly loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Besides his wife, Kristen, he is survived by his children, Patrick Keefe of Chelmsford, Jessica Keefe of Chelmsford, and Taylor Keefe of Arlington; two grandchildren, Bella and Shayla Sherman of Chelmsford; his siblings, Sandra Martinez and her husband, Louis of Chelmsford, Doreen Barkdoll and her husband, Bruce of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Carole Dubreuil of Townsend, James Keefe and his wife, Lynn of Lowell, Terence Keefe of Lowell, and Richard Brouillette of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
