Arthur James ‘Jimmy’ Early
LOWELL Arthur James ‘Jimmy’ Early, 73, of Lowell, well known local roofing contractor, died unexpectedly, Saturday, December 19, 2009, at his Lowell home.
A son of the late Arthur and the late Elenora (Butler) Early, he was born April 7, 1936, in Lowell, and educated in the local schools. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
A lifelong Lowell resident, he made his home on Gorham Street for many years. Former owner of Early Brothers Roofing, he was a well known local roofing contractor throughout Lowell and the surrounding area.
Mr. Early was a member of the D.L.K.V, the Polaski Club, the American Legion, and the Veterans’ of Foreign Wars Post 662, Walker Rogers where he enjoyed spending time with his friends. Jimmy loved eagles and enjoyed collecting eagle related items.
He is survived his wife, Susan M. (Frost) Early of Lowell; his daughters, Deborah Carbonneau and her husband, Paul, of Dracut, and Doreen Emond and her husband, Edward, of Manchester, NH; his step son, David Frost and his wife, Tammy, of Lowell; ten grandchildren; his brother, Walter Early of Lowell; his longtime close friend, Pat Morrison of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also a brother of the late Richard T. Early, and the stepfather of the late Wayne Frost.
