Anthony 'Tony' Francisco
Beloved Father, Husband, and Grandfather
LOWELL Anthony 'Tony' Francisco, 90, of Lowell, returned home to be with the love of his life, Esther, whom passed away in 2010. The loving journey ended in peace and he is now living a new life. He was the best friend of his daughter, Anna Maria (Francisco) Collupy.
Born August 19, 1923 in Lowell, he was an avid communicant of St. Anthony's Church. Tony would attend the Portuguese Mass each morning and say the Rosary. He worked as a custodian for the Lowell School Department for several years before his retirement. He was a friend to the many children he encountered over the years. Tony enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, visiting the Elks, and watching cowboy movies.
His dedication and character earned his much respect and many close friends. Tony's life revolved around his wife, Esther, and his family whom all loved him more than he will ever know.
Tony leaves behind his daughter, Anna Collupy and her family, son in law, Doug Collupy, his grandsons, Joshua, Brad, and Kile, all of Dracut. The boys shared many memorable moments with VoVo and gained so much from his wisdom. Tony lived by a special motto: 'Never Pass Up A Friend.' He would always go out of his way to greet someone with a 'Hello.' Tony will be missed but never forgotten for his voice, dancing, and the love he shared with his family.
