Anna Marie Broderick
LOWELL Anna Marie (Mello) Broderick, 65, a longtime Lowell resident, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of William W. Broderick, with whom she celebrated their Forty Fifth Wedding Anniversary last year.
A daughter of the late Edward E. and the late Eleanor (Silva) Mello, she was born July 22, 1951, in Lowell, and she was educated at the John T. Berry Rehabilitation Center in Reading.
She made her home in Chelmsford before residing in Lowell for many years, and was a communicant of St. Anthony Church. She worked in housekeeping at Saints Medical Center for thirty five years before her retirement.
Anna Marie enjoyed spending time with the love of her life, William and especially enjoyed their time spent at Salisbury Beach and the Dunes at Rye. In her younger days she enjoyed dancing, and met her husband at the Commodore Ballroom.
In addition to her loving husband, William, she is survived by her sisters in law, Mary Jo Craig of Hollis, NH, Sandra Chittenden and her husband, Ron, of Tensed, Idaho, Martha Swett and her husband, William, of Lowell, and Gail Cusick and her husband, James, of Rye, NH; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews as well as many cousins and friends.
She was also the step daughter of the late Mary C. Mello and was predeceased by many aunts and uncles.

HER FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE AT THE FUNERAL HOME SUNDAYAT 5 P.M.. BURIAL WILL TAKE PLACE PRIVATELY IN ST. PATRICK CEMETERY.
