Ann Sylvester
LOWELL Ann (Bridges) Sylvester, 82, of Lowell, died peacefully Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Fairhavn Healthcare Center after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Hector Sylvester who died in 1989.
A daughter of the late Ralph P. Bridges and the late Matilda (Patrie) Bridges, she was born February 13, 1932, in Lowell and was educated in the local schools.
Formerly of Hadley Street, Ann made her lifelong home in Lowell, and enjoyed flowers and gardening. In her younger days, she worked in the area Shoe Mills.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Sylvester and his wife, Cindy of Dracut, and Robert Sylvester of Lowell; her grandchildren, Chris Sylvester and his wife, Kim of Pelham, NH, Nick Sylvester of Lowell, and Katie Huntington and her husband, Rob of Dracut; her great grandchildren, Emma Sylvester and Lexie Sylvester both of Pelham, NH, and Robbie Huntington of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews.
