Angelo Melle
Chelmsford resident for over 30 years
CHELSMFORD Angelo Melle, 83, of Chelmsford, died unexpectedly Friday, June 7, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of the late Marsha (Palermo) Melle whom passed away in 1991.
Born September 26, 1929, in Lawrence, he was a son of the late Giacomo, and the late Angela (Chiarameda) Melle, attended the local Lawrence schools, and graduated from McQuade Jesuit High School.
Mr. Melle served with the United States Army in Europe for a year and a half.
He was employed for Wang Laboratories for over 20 years until his retirement. Angelo was employed in the electronics field since he was honorably discharged from the United States Army. In his free time, he enjoyed horse racing.
He is survived by a granddaughter, Stephanie Murphy of Chelmsford; a sister, Frances V. Salvio of Farmington, CT; a brother in law, Arthur Passaretti of Houston, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Francis Melle, Anita Braga, Mary Melle, and Rose Passaretti.
