Angelike M.  ‘Ann’ Flanagan

PELHAM, NH      Angelike M. ‘Ann’ (Tsatsios) Flanagan, 95, of Pelham, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.  She was the widow of the late Martin P. Flanagan who died in 1990.

      A daughter of the late Stergios and the late Marigo (Demas) Tsatsios, she was born January 11, 1923, in Lowell, and was raised and educated in the City, attending the Barlett School and Lowell High School.

      Ann worked at the former C.F.  Hathaway Company as a Utility Manager until they closed in 1975.  She then worked for Lowell Lingerie for ten years before her retirement.

      A lifelong member of the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox of Lowell, she made her home in Lowell for many years before making her home in Pelham, New Hampshire. 

      Ann enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed knitting and trips to Casinos.

      Her survivors include her daughter, Mary D. Ploof of Pelham, NH, and her son, George and his wife, Kathy Decelle, of Manchester, NH; her grandchildren, Roger Ploof Jr. and his wife, Jessica, of Windham, NH, Cheri Pereira and her husband, Robert of Wellsley, Steven Ploof of Lowell, and Kendra Ogbonna and her husband, Kelechi of Virginia;  her ten great grandchildren, Kristina Ploof, Stephanie Ploof, Roger Ploof III, Michael Ploof, Josslin Ploof, Lexie Pereira, Robert Pereira III, Saige Pereira, Manuel Pereira, and Gabriella Ploof; as well as her nieces and nephews, Beverly Martell and her husband, Bob of Lowell, Maria Sullivan and her husband, Paul of Franklin, MA, James Cassell and his wife, Sandy of North Andover, Dolly Pantelides and her husband, Nick of Annapolis, MD, Christina Noto and her husband, Rich of Lynnfield, Liz Moore and her husband Ken of Edgemont, VA; and a cousin Helen Kalgeropolous.

      The last of her generation, she was predeceased by her siblings, Georgia LeBrun, Helen Cassell, John, Arthur and Chris Tsatsios,  as well as her son in law, Roger R. Ploof, Sr.

           YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS 4 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON TUESDAY.   ON WEDNESDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.  HER FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAY  AT TRANSFIGURATION GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 25 FATHER JOHN SARANTOS WAY, LOWELL  AT 10 A.M..  BURIAL IN WESTLAWN CEMETERY.   MEMORIALS IN HER NAME TO TRANSFIGURATION GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH.
