Angel Luis Ortiz
LOWELL Angel Luis Ortiz, 66, of Lowell, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Rosemarie (Chrisikos) Ortiz, with whom he would have celebrated their Fourteenth Wedding Anniversary next month.
A son of the late Manuel Ortiz and the late Modesta (Baez) Ortiz, he was born May 20, 1950 in Comeiro, Puerto Rico, and was educated in Puerto Rico. He came to Massachusetts to make his home in September 1968.
Angel loved his family and enjoyed all family events. He also loved cars, especially corvettes, and was a big fan of the movie ‘Corvette Summer’. He also loved to dance, and was a pool player at the Senior Center in Lowell.
In addition to his loving wife, Rosemarie, he is survived by his sons, Angel Ortiz of Pelham, NH, and David Squeglia of Hudson, NH; his grandchildren, Anthony and Ariel Ortiz of Pelham, and their mother, Tiffany Ortiz and grandchildren, Trinity and Skylar Squeglia both of Hudson; his four siblings, Manuel Ortiz of PR, Alma Luna of Lowell, Jesus Ortiz of Lowell, and Rosa Rivera of Lowell; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Julia Ortiz.

HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE FUNERAL HOME WEDNESDAY AT 4 P.M.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, DONATIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE FUNERAL HOME TO OFFSET THE COST OF THE SERVICES.
