Angel “DJ Bori” Perez Jr.
LOWELL Angel Manuel Perez Jr., 38, of Lowell, died after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer, with his beloved family surrounding him.
Born July 20, 1977, in Bayamon, PR, he was a son of Angel Perez Sr. and the late Noemi (Borrero) Perez. He moved to Miami in the 1980’s with his family, and later settled in Boston.
He was well known locally as "DJ Bori", He DJ’ed at Hookslide Kelly’s, the Lowell Brewery, Savannahs (formerly Club 25), and many private parties throughout the area. He was a communicant and drummer at his father’s church, The House of Restoration in Lowell, for many years.
He enjoyed fishing, spending time at home working on his music, playing video games, traveling, especially to the beach, but most of all he enjoyed the time spent with his children.
Besides his father Angel Perez Sr. of Lowell, he is survived by his children, Maria Angelys, Isaiah, Allysa and Ally, etc., his 2 brothers, Victor Perez of Lowell, Moses Perez of Lowell, his sister, Vanessa (Perez) Ayala, also of Lowell, his fiance, Alcinda of Lowell, he is also survived by his grandmothers, aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, etc.
He was also the father of the late Romeo Perez and a brother of the late Marilyn Perez.
ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 20, 2016 YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS FROM 9 UNTIL 11 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL, MA 978-458-6816.
HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT THE FUNERAL HOME AT 11 A.M. IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE CALLING HOURS. BURIAL IN WESTLAWN CEMETERY.
