Victor F. Alex
LOWELL Victor F. Alex, 87, a lifelong Lowell resident, died unexpectedly, May 23, 2008 at Saints Medical Center. He was a son of the late Michael and the late Michalena (Babulavitch) Alex.
Born August 28, 1920, in Lowell, he was educated in the local schools. Victor served as a sergeant with the United States Air Force during World War II. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Lowell and worked for American Airlines as a mechanic and for Raytheon Corportation before his retirement. He enjoyed trips to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, and boating.
He is survived by his sisters, Sophie Alex of Lowell and Victoria Mayo of Wayzata, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late John Alex, the late Anthony Alex, the late Jennie Alex, the late Eva Sosnowy, and the late Helen Janero.
