ADAM A. STANDER (Al Stander) Age 94, of Deerfield Beach, FL, formerly of Chelmsford, MA, died January 31, 2016 at the John Knox Hospice. He was the widower of Helen I. (Kaveski) Stander who died in Dec. 2005. Born in New Bedford, MA, Jan. 5th, 1922, the eldest son of the late Adam & Caroline (Hencner) Stander. Adam had 3 married siblings, Florence & Stanley Fijal, James & Betty Stander and Helen & Joe Pelerin. He is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Paul & Cathy Stander of Harrison, ME, Richard & Robin Stander of Chelmsford, MA and Thomas & Cindy Stander of Lexington, MA, Six Grand-Children Jennifer & Joe Vozzella, Keli Stander, Jeffrey and Valerie Stander, Jared Stander, Terri & Leif Dugan and Mandy Stander and 3 Great-Grand-Children; Paul Vozzella, Abby Dugan and Joseph Dugan. Mass will be held at the St. John the Evangelist Church located at 115 Middlesex St., Chelmsford, MA on Saturday, 4-16-2016 at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at the Pine Ridge Cemetery, located at the junction of Rte. 129 and Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford, MA.
