William T. Murnane
"Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather"
LOWELL William T. Murnane, 65, of Lowell, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at his home after a long illness. He was the husband of Dorothy (Boissonneault) Murnane.
A son of the late William and the late Catherine (Cochran) Murnane, he was born December 8, 1944, in Melrose, and grew up in the Melrose Malden area. He was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School, joining the United States Air Force after graduation.
He made his home in the Highlands Section of the City, and was working as a service manager for Sears for thirty six years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and also enjoyed camping. Because of his love of computers, you could give him a computer and he could do anything with it. He was also a member of the Veterans’ of Foreign Wars Post 662, Walker Rogers.
In addition to his wife, Dorothy, he is survived by his children, Roger J. Lisi of Lowell, Lisa Gantz and her husband, John, of Lowell, and Christopher H. Lisi and his wife, M. Katrina, of Lowell; his grandchildren, John Jr., Jeremy, Rebecca, Natasha, and Joey; his brothers, John Murnane and his wife, Carol, of Ashland and Kevin Murnane and his wife, Joyce, of Freemont, NH; his mother in law, Lorraine C. Boissonneault of Dracut; and many brothers and sisters in law as well as many nieces and nephews, and his many close friends.
