LOWELL Theresa M. Foote, 75, of Lowell, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the widow of the late Wilfred J. Foote who passed away in 1986.
A daughter of the late George A. and the late Annette A. (Berube) Desmarais, she was born June 29, 1938, in Auburn, Maine, and educated in that area, graduating from Edward Little High School with the Class of 1956.
Upon her marriage, she moved to Massachusetts making her home in Lowell for fifty three years before moving back to Maine where she resided for eighteen years. She then relocated back to Lowell where she resided for the past three years.
Theresa worked for Community Teamwork, Inc, from the early 1970’s to the late 1980’s as a social worker. She enjoyed arts and crafts as well as cooking. An avid sports fan, she especially enjoyed NASCAR and was a race car driver in her younger days. She was also a fan of the Boston sports teams, in particular the Boston Bruins.
She is survived by her children, Arthur G. Foote and Linda Phinney of Rochester, NH, Keith Foote and his wife, Jami, of Casco, Maine, Tina Robinson and her husband, Jack, of Stacyville, ME, Licia A. Leczynski and her husband, Gary, of Lowell, Marie L. Norman and her husband, John, of Chelmsford, and Wilfred J. Foote, Jr., and his wife, Tammy, of Lowell; her grandchildren, Andrew, Shaylove, Burke, Theresa, Ashley, Kaitlin, Jessica, Ashley, Corey, Laura, Carrie, Gary Jr., Jennifer, Kaitlin, Jonathan, Chelsea, Amee, Makayla, Kyle, Amanda, Joshua and Seth; her great grandchildren, , Karritikah, Alexander, Jayson, Jeremy, Hailey, Kali, Jayvien, Elysia, Autumn, Lily, Alexis, Cameron; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 2 daughters in law, Caroline Foote of Londonderry, NH and Dawn Laurent of Ashland.
