LOWELL Paul Christian, 57, a longtime Lowell resident, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary McNulty with whom he shared over 40 years of his life.
A son of the late Gerard Christian and the late Madeline (Mastropietro) Christian, he was born June 15, 1959, in Chelsea. He was raised and educated in Lowell/Lawrence area. He worked in the automotive repair industry for most of his life and was the owner and operator of Mr. Clutch in Lowell for many years. Paul loved cars and women and will be most fondly remembered by all who knew him as “a normal guy”.
In addition to his beloved wife, Mary, Mr. Christian is survived by his sons, Paul D. Christian, Jr. and his wife, Shelley Angove, of Lowell, Johnny Christian and his wife, Rachel Lumbard of Woburn, Kris Kringle Christian and his wife, Stephanie Landry of Hudson, NH; his daughter, Shannon McNulty of North Chelmsford; his 8 grandchildren, Paul III, Alyssa, George, Dylan, Johnny Jr., Elexia, Alyse and Aubrey; his brothers, Brian Christian and his wife, MaryJo, of New Hampshire and Doug Christian and his wife, Lynn, of Pelham and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Dennis Christian, Chaz Devanna, Jerry Christian, Maddy Cunha, Paula Green.
