Loving Son, Brother and Uncle
LOWELL Michael Contino, 39, a lifelong Lowell resident, died unexpectedly, Sunday, February 16, 2014. He was a son of Edward R. Surprenant and the late Lucille M. (Bibeault) Surprenant who died March 5, 2014, and the late Louis Contino.
Born September 21, 1974, in Lowell, he was educated in the local schools graduating from Lowell Vocational High School.
He made his lifelong home in Lowell, and was a communicant of St. Margaret Church.
Michael worked as a machine operator and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a warm heart.
He is survived by his sister, Cheryl Walpole and her husband, James, of Westford; his brother, Steven Brady and his wife, Kathy, of Tyngsboro; his nephews, Jake, Matthew, and Owen; his nieces, Kaitlyn and Meghan; his aunt, Lorraine Laurin of Atkinson, NH; and many cousins and friends.
YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS 3 UNTIL 5 AND 6 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON MONDAY, MARCH 10. ON TUESDAY, HIS FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 8 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. HIS FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. MARGARET CHURCH AT 9:30 A.M.. BURIAL IN ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY.
