LOWELL Maria ‘Espirto Santo’ Figueiredo, 66, of Lowell, died accidentally, Monday, October 26, 2015, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Sabino Figueiredo , with whom they celebrated their Thirty Eighth Wedding Anniversary last July.
Born June 4, 1949, in Graciosa, Azores, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Andre S. and the late Rosa E. (Conde) Conde, and grew up and was educated in that area. She came to the United States in 1975 with her parents, settling in Lowell.
A communicant of St. Anthony’s Church, she was a former member of the choir. She took great pride in her family and enjoyed family times spent together. She also enjoyed crocheting, cooking, playing cards, Lottery scratch tickets, and taking walks. In her younger days, she had worked for Paris Shoe and Wang Laboratories.
In addition to her loving husband, Sabino, she is survived by her son, Paul Figueiredo of Lowell; her daughter, Ana Figueiredo of Lowell; her sisters, Alcinda Silva and Lionilda Silva and her husband, Manuel, all of Tewksbury; her brother in law, Jose Luis Figueiredo and his wife, Alexandrina, of Lowell; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
She was a sister of the late Valdmiro Conde, the late Manuel Conde, and Jeronima Conde.

HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. ANTHONY’S CHURCH, 893 CENTRAL ST., LOWELL AT 10 A.M.. BURIAL IN WESTLAWN II CEMETERY.
