Harold R. Brooks
LOWELL Harold R. Brooks, 65, a lifelong resident of Lowell and currently of Tewksbury, died Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at his Tewksbury residence after a brief illness.. He was a son of the late William F. and the late Ellen E. (Hovey) Brooks.
Born July 9, 1943, in Lowell, he made his home in the Pawtucketville Section of the City before residing in Tewksbury, and was an assembler for A Plus in Dracut, and had also worked at Goodwill in Lowell for many years. He was a communicant of the former St. Peter’s Church and the former Sacred Heart Church, and was currently a communicant of Holy Family Parish.
Harold enjoyed bowling and attending dances, and loved to watch Westerns Shows on Television or watch Western movies.
He is survived by three sisters, Mary E. Botto of Lowell, Julia E. Feeley of Lowell, and Patricia C. Youngblood of Monroe, Louisiana; a brother, George T. Brooks Sr. of North Chelmsford; his Godmother, Catherine Ricard of Nashua, NH, and many friends at Roy Way in Tewksbury and Colonial House in Lowell as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and great grand nieces, and great grand nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Gertrude Brooks and the late William F. Brooks Jr.
